  Hair Removal

The hair is composed of a follicle and a shaft. The follicle is a small sac containing the hair
root as well as a high concentration of melanin. The hair root and its nutrient vessels are our
target. Heated up for at least 1 millisecond at a temperature of approximately 65°, nutrient
vessels will be disabled and the hair root destroyed, preventing new growth of the hair.

The hair growth cycle is divided into 3 phases:
  •    Anagen
  •    Catagen
  •    Telogen

Only during the Anagen phase are the bulb and shaft attached to the hair root, therefore only
during the 1st phase are we able to destroy it. This, combined with skin complexion and
pigmentation, hair colour and thickness explains why several cessions are needed to ensure
  optimal results.
